The results have been updated from the South Brevard Ducks Unlimited "Band the Slam" Charity Inshore Tournament...

Next event is the FLFA's "Double Points" inshore tournament, event #7. Registration is scheduled for Friday, June 8th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at Riverside Cafe in Vero Beach. Snook will have been closed for a 3-month season, so trout & redfish will be the fish of the day for us!

Nick Lindheim was the winner of the Biggest Fish Contest in the 4th FLFA event on April 14th. His 9.24 pound trout earned him a 1/2 mount from Brown's Taxidermy in Port Canaveral! He'll get his 1/2 mount at event #7's registration on June 8th!

Make sure you get your Tackle Web for the boat! The bounty is up to $250.00 and the species will be Redfish during FLFA's event #7. The team w/a registered Tackle Web and the biggest Trout of the event! Get yours at www.tacklewebs.com, White's Tackle in Ft. Pierce or Native Tackle Supply in Sebastian.

This year there are 10 events that are eligible for circuit points, but you DO NOT have to fish all of them to make the free end-of-season FREE fish-off! We're calling it the "pick-6" season. Here's the explanation-

To automatically make the fish-off, all you HAVE to do is fish the 5 FLFA-run events, which are #1, #2, #3, #4 & #7. To make the top-20 (which has benefits in the fish-off) we will use "up to" your best 6 snook, trout & redfish points, plus any slam points and bonus points that your team has earned for a place in the top-20 roster. Of course, the more tournaments you fish, the better chances you have to make the top-20...

End of season category winners remain the same by using your best 6 species points from each species to come up with the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in the snook, trout & redfish categories.
